    Description

    Painted-red AF#654 PULLMAN Heavyweight Observation Car with thick plastic body, plastic frame and long (2 1/4")trucks.  Prototypical asymmetrical window patterns featuring 12 total windows on one side and 10 total on the other side all with shades (side 2 missing one window insert).  Side 2 has a spring loaded metal passenger door at forward end(also missing window insert).  Elaborate body detail includes clerestory roof, ventilators, rivets, and observartion deck with brass railing and nameplate(decal missing).  White lettering "PULLMAN" above window line and "654" at each end below window line.  The unpainted black plastic frame includes steps at right front corner and rear two corners, center sill, reservoir, battery boxes, embossed "PA-10067/PA10067A/PA-10067B" and "AMERICAN FLYER MFG BY THE A.C. GILBERT CO. NEW HAVEN CONN. U.S.A.  The car is illuminated(no white paper diffuser), has link couplers with "PA. NO. 2240137" embossed and no coupler weights.  Seller is long term member of N.A.S.G. and T.C.A.
