Very special piece from my 94 year old neighbors home. This was given to her by her uncle who owned a photography studio in the early 1900s until around 1930. This is a unique bold design and shorter sides to make this piece very photogenic without obstructing the view of the infant in a photograph. This was also used in post mortem photography several times. One of a kind. Where are you going to find another one?

Currently finished in a gloss Ivory. Couple of marks here and there but very attractive as it is.
