Antique Victorian 14k Gold Carved Cameo Pendant of a Pretty Woman Pendant

Description

Presented is a lovely Victorian 14 karat gold carved hardstone cameo pendant.
The central focus of the pendant is a beautifully carved cameo featuring a
pretty woman in profile, in white against orange-red. The carving is very
detailed and well done, depicting a woman with her hair done up and wearing a
tiara. The cameo is set in an ornate gold frame, done in rose, yellow and green
gold with detailed texturing and decoration. Hanging from the bottom of the
pendant are three little gold pointed teardrop dangles. The pendant has a
swiveling loop or bail at the top.
This piece is in great condition. The carving is in good shape, with no chips
and no cracks. There are no breaks and no repairs.
There is a stamp on the loop at the top, which is unfortunately too worn to
read. We have tested this piece with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14 karat
gold.
The pendant is about 2 inches long.
The pendant weighs 7.9 grams.
