Antique Victorian carved Shell Cameo Brooch (Pin) or Necklace

Description

This lovely Victorian shell cameo features a beautiful woman gazing to the left. She is surrounded in baby pearls. I am unsure of the metal. The C clasp is original and works perfectly. It can be worn as a brooch or pin, but also has a bale which gives it the option of being worn as a necklace. It is 30 mm long and 25 mm wide.  It  weighs 7.3 grams. A beautiful cameo for that special someone.
