Antique Wood Rocking Cradle For Infant or Doll, 24 inches long by 10.5 inches wide, and 10 inches tall.
This is a single family owned infant baby or dolls cradle made of wood, not sure what kind, and nailed together with what look like hand forged nails. Hand forged nails of this kind were used up to the early 1800’s when uniform machine made nails became used more prevalently.
This piece is much older and likely home made, in the family, for the birth of a child. Some of the pieces have been shaped, rounded and cut by hand. It is an incredible piece of history.
This piece is a true antique and is therefore sold “as is”. There are some condition issues but it is all original and have taken its age, craftsmanship and history into account when pricing this piece.
