The carving is that of a master hand, with intricate detail in good crisp relief and gorgeous coloring to the shell. This beautiful example is set in ornate 14k bezel with early locking clasp, This dates to the late Victorian, Edwardian era. It measures 2 1/4 x 1 3/4 inches and weighs 24,8 grams. It is in excellent antique used condition.
