    John Glenn Friendship Seven Porcelain Brass Button.
    Picture of Lt. Col. John H Glenn Friendship Seven button.  I believe it is porcelain set in a brass base.  Metal is not magnetic.  There is a spot of corrosion on the back but not rusted.
    It's 1 1/4" in diameter.  Not sure of age.  An unusual addition to any space collection.
