Hello, here is a 100% natural Pygurus sp. Sea Urchin or Sand Dollar -like fossil that has been polished! It was quarried in the Morondava River Basin, near the town of Sakaraha, Southwest Madagascar.
It has a great color and definition. This "rock" was a living animal during the Jurassic period, Oxfordion Age a Crazy! 161 to 156 million years ago!
The fossil measures around 6.42cm or 2 1/2" at its biggest or from side to side.
