Vintage -early 1960's- Mercury Space Capsule Keychain by Balfour - pre-owned

Description

This is a Vintage, from the early 1960's, Mercury Space Capsule Keychain made by Balfour. The Keychain is very detailed and includes the textured outside, the window, the Antenna Canister, the Retro Pack and Heat Shield.
The keychain is a light brass color and the capsule is on an oval which measures 1 inch by 3/4 inch and is 1/2 inch deep. The finish on the capsule is a little chipped. The round keychain clasp is missing. The last photo has coins as a reference for size and color, but are not included.
This is a unique piece of historical memorabilia commemorating the beginning of the U.S.'s space program.
